Literature Text

Bonnie just lay there in the parts and service room, cold and alone. He sat in a corner and held his legs with his only arm. He was forlorn and plain heartbroken. Everything out there; The kids, the friends, the parties, and best of all, the show... Those things were his life. All of those were the things that made him Bonnie. All of it was his, until that so-called 'Bonnie' came along. He remembers the humans taking away his arm just for it to be used to make that stupid, girly face of his 'new and improved' version.

Bonnie even knows that a good chunk of his face was separated from him. Yet again, it was for the other 'Bonnie'. Bonnie knew that everyone loved him more than that thing. He was original, not the other. Those humans that tore him apart seemed to think that the original was not a big deal to Freddy Fazbear's Diner anymore and just tossed him in the dirtiest room in the building to forget about him. His old friends would check up on him sometimes, but one day they just stopped seeing him. Anger rested within Bonnie because he knew that they were probably being ripped apart to make their 'others'.

It was early in the morning and Bonnie remained there in his corner. Although he was an animatronic, he still felt much pain on his face and arm, but there was more pain about to visit him right now.

The door to the room opened, and Bonnie's ears only twitched slightly and made a rusty noise. If he still had his eyes, he would close them and wait until the door closed again. He heard footsteps approaching him and Bonnie slowly looked over his shoulder to see 'him' standing there with a sneer on 'his' precious little face.

"So, you're the old Bonnie, huh?" 'he' said. Bonnie envied the voice of this animatronic; it was more friendly sounding and had a perfect smoothness to it to mirror the delightful sound of singing.
"Oh, where are my dear manners? I am Bonnie." 'he' said. The original rabbit snapped his head toward the direction of the so-called 'Bonnie'. 'He can't be Bonnie! I am!' the old animatronic thought.
"Oh, sorry. Is that your name? I'll be kind. Call me Bonbon instead. Seems more like a friendlier name, don't you say?" Bonbon said, batting his girlish eyelashes innocently. Bonnie just stared at him with the two red dots he calls eyes, but he didn't say a word.

"Oh, dear, look at the time! The little kids will come running in at any second! The show must go on! See you later, Bonnie." the blue robot stated with a swish of his hand, and left the room.

'The show must go on.'

Those words bounced around the walls that surrounded him. 'He's right,' thought Bonnie, 'The show needs to continue.' Bonnie stood up after a few moments and took some shaky steps toward the door. Automatically, his ears started rising up at the sound of laughing children. With his good hand, he pushed the door open and stepped out. As he looked back to the closing door, he saw a familiar shape resting on the floor and collecting dust. Quickly, Bonnie grabbed it and headed down the hallway. The object he picked up was his old guitar. The remaining part of his torn off arm only moved a few times. Poor Bonnie thought he can wipe the dust away from his beautiful instrument.

The lights of the party room was approaching him, and Bonnie hurried to get to it. Finally, he stood in plain view. The kids around him stopped running and laughing and stared at Bonnie.

"Hey ther-er-er-errrrr... kids and parents! G-g-g-gggood morning and welcome to Freddy Fazbear's Diner!" the distorted and garbled voice of Bonnie boomed in the party room. After a long pause, a scream of a child was heard and then was followed by the other kids shrieking and running to their parents. Bonnie was confused and felt sad that all his fans were running from him.

Bonnie saw something to his right and when he looked, he was immediately dragged back into the dark hallway. The wretched place of the parts and service room door was swung open, and Bonnie was pushed inside.

The thing that grabbed him was Bonbon, and surprisingly, Bonbon had a pitied look in his green eyes.

"Bonnie, what was that?! You can't just show up like you're all back to normal!" scolded Bonbon. Bonnie remained quiet and stared at Bonbon.

The blue bunny just shook his head and was already halfway out the door when he heard Bonnie following him.

"No, Bonnie. You need to stay here."

Bonnie stared again.

"You just don't get it, do you? Don't you see? You've been replaced." said Bonbon, and he walked away.
