Claud and Trinity~ Apologize

 Claud marched angrily toward the Kingdom with a whimpering orange wolf's ear in his mouth. She was growling and whining and was forced to follow him since her ear is sensitive. As Claud got to the wolf's cave, he yanked her downward and she fell forward. He stared her down and she dared to stare at him back and slowly got up. She jumped forward and barked," What's your problem?!"
"This is the last time you walk away!" said Claud, stomping his armored paw downward.
"You don't care what makes me happy! You never let me do what I want!"
"I'm doing it to protect you! You don't know what's out there and you barely know how to defend yourself!"
"I'll be fine! I've been doing this for so long I know what's dangerous and what isn't!"
"No you don't. You know nothing about real danger."
       Trinity, the orange wolf, bared her teeth and snorted, "Yes I do. It's YOU who doesn't know!"
Claud was taken aback by this. "You're a coward!" said Trinity, walking forward. "You don't want me to go enjoy myself because you just don't want to face what's out there! Well I DO! I want to go on my own! I can't have you pup-sitting me anymore! I'm not your pup anymore!"
Claud snarled and jumped forward, making Trinity flinch and crouch down.
"I go through hell to protect you. You know NOTHING about real dangers. You need to appreciate what I do for you! I'm here for you! You can't just blow off my protection!"
"I can if I try!"
"You know what? I need more respect. You don't know anything! Apologize, now."
Trinity's eyes contracted and she glared skulls into him.
"No."
"Apologize!"
"No!"
Claud growled and grabbed Trinity's fur, pulling her toward the back of her cave.
"Hey, what are you doing? Stop it! I command you to--"
"You don't control me! I control YOU in order to keep you safe!"
          Claud threw Trinity forward and she lay there on her side staring up at him, but something reflected in her eyes. Fear and regret.
Claud blinked and stomped out of her cave, not looking back. Then it occurred to Trinity...
"Claud.." she whispered. "You do do everything for me... I'm....."
